This course supports EMDR trained clinicians in confidently completing Phase Three assessment and target selection with developmental attunement. Grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing model, the course focuses on identifying appropriate targets, assessing negative and positive cognitions, emotions, and body sensations, and using play based methods to support access without altering EMDR structure. Participants will learn how to stay faithful to the eight phase model while making Phase Three workable, ethical, and clinically sound across developmental levels.
